Help ID LEMANS letters
I wasn’t sure which of the Tempest/Lemans subforums to post this, so I am hoping that someone here can identify these letters (or assist me in identifying).
I have 1 & 5/6ths of sets; I believe that the letters I am used to for Firebirds each have part numbers on them, but each of these say “GENERAL DETROIT” and a sequential two digit number; L = 75 E = 76 M = 77 A = 78 N = 79 S = 80

pretty sure those are 1966 quarter emblems. the 67-69 used the lower case e's and a's, 70-72 styles are single joined emblems.

Great!
Would you suggest I repost in the 66-67 subforum?

well, I think you can add 65 to that too. I'm solid on my 67-72 stuff, but not the earlier cars. based on the online pics I've found, those are 65 and 66 lemans quarter emblems. 64 was a small badge.
