That's very interesting.

I considered GN turbos but thought using factory Pontiac turbos would be cool.
I'd like to see what you used for manifolds etc. Maybe you could start a seperate thread if you have some more pics and info to post.
Personally, that arrangement would drive me crazy as I'm anal about symmetry in my engine compartment but nice work regardless.

reiskirch,
nice car and combo!
on the turbo on the drivers side i think you could extend the inlet tube down to get some cool air to that air cleaner.

I've only run eighth mile. Best ET 6.30 @ 110 MPH. 428 with D1 Procharger, Edelbrock heads, 3600 lb race weight. I always drive to the track, don't own a trailer.

I'll take some pics. I don't post much but enjoy the site and get a lot of info. I ran the 6.30 at a local track (Dothan dragway) about 25 miles away. I usually only get to the track 2 or 3 times a year. My young kids have really shrunk the car budget!

The car was actually my first car and I've owned it since 1988. It's a two-bolt block, stock nodular 428 crank, home ported 72 cc Edelbrocks, Victor intake, and 248/254 Comp solid roller. I built the T400, set up the 12-bolt rear, and even painted the car in my shop.

I bought the Procharger from someone who said they had it on a Catalina. The brackets were already set up. Could have been someone on here, its been a few years ago.

sorry it's not Pontiac powered, but hey at least it's not chebby powered & Pontiac used this motor in the fastest Pontiac Indy pace car. 67 firebird, 3125lb race weight, 274ci TA Performance aluminium Buick V6 block, Precision 42-76 turbo, stock suspension with cal tracs. best of 8.89@154.85 on a 5 year old set of M/T 275 drag radials with only 24psi boost.
