Default Question?

Did you have to replace the windshield header?

MJZ If you are talking about the front header assembly for the convertible top frame, yes I did have to replace it. It was rusted bad1!

I’ve been putting it off for a couple of years. It just seems it will be a major pain in the butt to repair, was it?

I'm liking the saddle more and more. Pictures don't do it justice. Yes staying with white top as original.

Finished installing the interior with the exception of window cranks. New ones on the way. Am pleased with how it turned out. Again pictures don't do it justice.
GTO door badges are installed just not in these pictures. Here is rear quarter shot. Spent a few hours getting rear bumper to where I am happy with it

Top has been installed. Looks good. Now to get the side window seals installed and the A/C charged. Then she is done. Not sure about keeping it as I'm not really into convertibles??
Started stripping the paint of my 64 Tempest as I have promised my wife I would get it painted once the 70 was complete. Will move it into my shop to do body work over the winter. Its really a pretty solid car so shouldn't take too long. Hard to believe I paid $450 for it as a parts car in 2012. Put it on a different frame and did the LS swap in 2015 and have been driving it ever since.

Looks great Steve! It was good seeing you and the Mrs. at Gilmore's this past Saturday. The '73 Lemans GT is looking as good as ever.

Thanks Dennis. Pam and I always enjoy visiting and having a few laughs with you and Dan. Loved checking out the 69 Custom S 350HO 4door. Such a unique car and story. See you at PSMCD in Sept.
