Default Rumor, is it true?

I was told recently, that along with my '67 GTO HT, a Pontiac or GTO (specific) demo 8 track tape came with the tape player option. Can someone here confirm or correct this?

Much appreciated.
Don

Thanks, Ed.

So, did this tape come as part of the 8 track player option? If yes, I’d love to have one. I searched eBay but saw only ‘68 and ‘72.

I see the demo 8 tracks for diff years all the time at the swaps in the D. I’ve seen olds too, then they did cassette tapes as well. Saw a 1979 Pontiac cassette tape at the last swap.

Thanks Burd. What is "the D"? I've heard Dallas and Detroit referred to as "the D".

I'd love to have one of these tapes since my 8 track player is original to the car. Would be a "nice to have" item. If someone knows of one for sale, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks
Don
