Check the photos on the Nitemare website. Not exactly the same as your bar but it mounts the same.

https://www.pbase.com/pontiac_perfor...tisway_bar_kit

That would be the proper way to mount it. I’m sure you could fab the required pieces. Hope that helps.

Post Rear sway bar

The bracket slides into the lower rear control arms,.
You will need to test fit it and drill the bolt holes in your lower control arms to bolt them up.
These came on early 70's Grandvilles.
They really perform great,
I have used them in my past 2 66 full sized Pontiacs.
Combined with a 1 1/4" front sway bar, they greatly improve the handling and cornering on these big old cars.
You will definitely notice a huge difference in the ride.

Default Rear sway bar big cars

Thx for that ..yes I double checked the kind of mounting .. I will sandblast the parts and check for installing .. a rear sway bar is definitive a great performance ..done it to my 77 Firebird Esprit ..awesome change and new red adjustable Koni shocks

Just remember if you add a large rear sway bar without improving the front bar you may create an OVER steer condition. Not good.

Those 70s Pontiac B Body bars work fine on the 65-8 cars, but they do mount a bit more forward than the ideal location. My car is in the shop getting new rear control arms. The shop thinks they can source an aftermarket rear sway bar. Hilarious. No one makes one. PMT Fab makes a 61-4 but nothing newer. Frankly, my car turns pretty flat between the big Addco bar in front and the one I have in the back. Not sure about traction tho.
