We often have car shows at the nudist Resorts here in FL. One is at Lake Como, which happens to be one of the oldest Nudist resorts in the US and the other is at a high-end resort called Caliente. While at the Lake Como show, we always have lunch at the "Butt Hut"

I got no problem with people wanting to go around nude but a nude car show? I mean, do the spectators have to be nude also? If not, who's going to be looking at the cars? LOL...And how many nudists also share the car hobby? Think of any car show that you've ever been to and how many of those people do you actually want to see walking around naked? Very, very few I'll bet LOL

all honesty (and bad jokes aside), if you go a nudist-anything to look at women, you will be disappointed;
our media has skewed our perception of the female form to have idealized one that very few can achieve, let alone maintain. Heck, how many of us can achieve or maintain the idealized male form? - women have it harder.... I respect people who can do this, but outside of the safety of my own home I doubt I could ever bare-all... I do agree that this is a most curious combination of events... I had understood that nudist/naturist(?) areas are not "clothing optional"; But maybe I don't have a clue.

I've lived, worked, and vacationed around the world. I've had exposure to clothing optional situations and can confirm that people do not look good nude.
