Default 1959 389 w/Hydromatic

1959 389 2bbl w Hydramatic, Nov 58 build date. 531395 heads. Missing carb, generator and oil dipstick. Supposedly running when pulled, but condition unknown. Complete power steering pump and brackets. Generator bracketry is in place. Been stored inside. You are buying as-is!

$300 for engine and trans, pickup only, located in Minden, LA.

A friendly note you could relay to the buyer:
If that HydraMatic comes apart for any reason, please note that one of the front pump attaching bolts is shorter than the others. Not having the short bolt correctly located prevents the smaller fluid coupling from filling- causing non- or intermittent 1-2 and 3-4 shifts.
[Ask me how I know... after driving from the port of Bremen down to the Eifel Mountains in 1st & 3rd gear only...]

I had held it for 2 months for a guy in England (Dean), but he never finished the transaction. He wanted it for a 58 wagon.

The new buyer is from San Angelo TX.
