Hi,
I bought a real out trunk light, but was wondering where and how it is (should be) connected. Does anyone have a picture of his/her 66/67 GTO LeMans, where the trunk light should be installed? Should there be some kind of switch? That when the trunk is opened the light goes on? Hope you can tell me.... Thanks!!!! Being Dutch does not automatically mean it will be cheap!

The light mounts in the center of the trunk. There is a mercury switch inside which turns the light on when the trunk is opened.

Did 66 GTO's come with a reel out light as a option? Mine had a light fixed to the deck lid.
