I have searched hi and lo for a set of outside electric rear view mirrors and control panel for my 70 GTO project. All the electric mirrors I have seen mount up on the window surface instead of on the door skin. So Im looking for input as to which models (if any) came with electric mirrors that mount on the door like my 70. Help.

Alhough they dont look all that correct for a gto, these mirrors from a 91-94 Caprice mount on the door skin as opposed to the window corner. Here is a link to a pair on ebay:
