SSJ71,

I did see this one. It was on ebay before from this owner aswell as the previous owner. It was in Texas previously and sold for $7500.00 BIN to the current owner.

I do like this car but I'm really looking for a 455 car.

Thanks for keeping an eye out

Dave

Keith,

I got a bunch of pictures of this car from the previous owner and it did look like alot of bondo. Was this car crunched at one time? It also looked like the floor of the car had some distortion to it.

PHS says it's also a bench seat car.

Harvey,

Just got back from looking at this car 10 minutes ago. Lots of bondo in this car. Rear window, both quarters, inner wheel houses, fenders, even the doors on the lower areas by the hinges, etc. Trunk floor and floor of the car on the passenger rear had rotted holes in them.

I don't mind doing body work on a car but I would like for it to at least have good bones.

The search continues.

Dave, the CL car in SE PA? Guy sounded like a wheeler dealer to me on the phone, so I didn't even bother to go see it.

Keith,

He just took this in on trade for a chevelle that he sold. It didn't look bad from
20' but when you really looked at it, someone did a patch and paint. Looks O.K. for now but after you drive it for a 1000 miles what would it look like.

The int door panels were painted and they didn't remove them or mask anything. The headliner was painted black, probably to hide the stains from the roof leaks ETC.

I know what ya mean about white, my Gp pics great at 20 Ft., but walk up close and you see why all the the badging is missing. She's still a great car, just with an old resto job showing her age... kinda like Joan Rivers.

Well, finally, after 4 years I found and purchased a 72 SSJ. Loaded,455, tilt, cruise, ATC, rear def, cs wheel, gauges, p/w, etc. original drivetrain.

Now all I need to do is put it to together.
