Pretty sure that you need to eliminate the defroster when you move the Master cyl.
I looked at a car a number of years ago that was done very poorly and the seller endured a lot of disgusted tire kickers...including me! Some talent-less clod really messed up a nice car.

On a customer's car we made a bracket for a Wilwood remote dual master - worked fine. He nor us wished o butcher the defroster.

Thanks - We do, they are here:
http://scarebird.com/index.php?route...product_id=123 I was not impressed with the all-in-one packing of the Vintage Air unit - I would examine other options before selecting. |

I have mine on the firewall. I welded in a 1/8" to reinforce the area. I use a 55 Chevy pedal assembly and a mopar mc. I couldn't use the full assembly, the speedometer was in the way so made a bracket to support it under the dash.
As high as I mounted it, the factory pedal wasn't long enough to where it should have been. So found one from a truck and had a nice offset to go around steering column and bolted and welded to factory 55 pedal arm. Which actually gave me a nice 6:1 ratio for manual 4wl disc brakes. Than used an adjustable Wilwood prop valve.

I was planning on reinforcing the firewall, I’ve seen others say the 55 pedal so I going to grab one up. I’m doing a booster I want power brakes this is a cruiser so no crazy cam or engine work done. But then I’m also thinking of leaving it where it is since scaredbird has that bracket decision decision..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My pedal has been moved to the firewall on my 56. The pedal had a part #. From a mid to late 90’s chevy truck. Apears the booster, master cylinder and engine came from that source.

Speedway Motors (and probably others ) sells a whole kit for mounting the master on the firewall. Comes with bracket and pedal.
