Default All original 69T/A RAIV

Just so you guys can have that same "why does this s$%^ never happen to me feeling" as i do i thought i'd share this story with you.

Over on another site like this that i belong to a guy had posted a question on the value of a 69T/A car. Original drive train, RAIV car (yes i know..55 total produced), 54k original miles, original owner, original paint. Body is completely solid. As you can imagine its showing its wear after 40 years and with original paint. The guy says his buddy has a chance to buy it for 20k and was looking for advice on whether that was a real good deal.

Yep, true story!! Amazing!!

Is it a IV and where are the pans?

If he doesn't want to pay 20k for it I will!

Yeah I dont know enough about em to be able to authenticate whether its a real RAIV car or even a real TA for that matter. But simple enough to verify thru PHS correct?
If thats the original paint as mentioned that is incredible!!!! Time capsule is right.

I don't think the aluminum intake was painted on the 69-70 Ram IV engines.

You guys are all trippin' ..... it's OBVIOUSLY not real, it's OBVIOUSLY a clone, and I'll OBVIOUSLY buy it for 20k...can you get me the guy's #, cause I don't want any one of my fellow Pontiac brethren to be duped by this OBVIOUSLY fake car....

Looks like it is a legit TA to me.

and for 20K?

of course snag it!

HOWEVER .....

unrestored? hmmm...maybe, but probably not (at least exterior paint)....

also...RA IV?

possibly, but from pics Im not convinced of that.

(post the vin and that can be confirmed/refuted pretty quick with mccarthy's 69-70 RA IV TA vins already published)

Hey we are only quibbling about a few hundred thousand/half mil difference so whats the big deal.... ;-)
