Default found a 1970 parts car

not much left on this car ,but got a steering column. any value on these and can i some how test them. Going back in the morning to take the complete wiring harness and the trunk lid if it is any good

I would try to salvage as much original hardware off of it as well, if not too crusty.

i’ve been looking for a good oe saftey/reverse switch;
as I recall mine was falling apart, and with my hodge-podge of parts to make everything work, I was using an automatic switch in conjunction with the three speed part on the firewall, and the wrong reverse rod;
believe it or not, the reverse lights turned on when I put it in reverse!

Now that I have all the right stuff, I am left only looking for the switch;
I see they are reproduced and I may go that way if I don’t find one reasonably priced.
I saw the other day there was an NOS one on ebay, for about six or seven times the cost of a repop.

1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing)
2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs)
