Default 69 GP SJ 428 Barn Find

My son and I pulled this from an old barn/garage on Saturday. Hasn't been on the road since '84. Interior, frame, pans, all in great shape. Body, not so much.
We are working on getting it running this weekend.

Wow if you wake that after a 37 year nap and get it running in a weekend I'll be impressed.

Just connecting a battery, all the lights, wipers, AM/FM, horn, power seat, and windows all work.

More pictures please. If you get her started perhaps you should name her “sleeping beauty”?

Being stored inside is a big bonus! Fresh gas, points and that baby will fire!

Funny how sometimes you can know the location of a place by a picture. The second I saw that initial photo I said, “hey, NH-ME sea coast area!

Congrats 1stgenbird! Great find! More pics and updates would be great! Glad your son was in on the recovery mission. Is he interested in driving/owning it? I know my younger sons can’t wait to drive and they’re 10 and 6 YO. You should bring it to POCI in Connecticut in a few months as a “Barn Find Driver”. I want credit for that name if it catches on. 😁

Congratulations on saving her. She looks like she is smiling getting out of that old garage.
Many happy miles, Brew
