Engines were cast, machined and assembled in Pontiac Michigan (block, intake and cylinder heads). The final assembly plant was co-located on the same acreage. For cars that were completed in Pontiac one could imagine the engine wasn't totally cooled off before being put in the car. I exaggerate for effect but, in all serious, the block in my GTO was cast 9 days before the completed car rolled off the end of the line. K

Revival from the dead but it took a long time but I finally got my build sheet framed. I haven't had time to check behind any other panels to see if there's another sheet somewhere else or potentially one in better condition even but this is what I have so far.

Nice display.
Make sure it doesn't get any solar load there which will cause it to decay. In fact, you might consider making a copy and artificially aging it for display, and put the original away for safekeeping. That's what I did here (copy of original title in display; original tucked away). K
