Cool Funny...

I was pretty sure that the "Bobcat" thing was patented. Guess I'm mistaken.

Looks like the dealer installed the SLP Performance Pac which bumps the hp from 400 to about 455 at the crank. With a price tag of $36,990 they're basically asking for full MSRP plus the mods. I'm sure you could get a new GTO and do the mods yourself for considerably less.

Yes, but the whole point is if you can't do it yourself. They make a couple different variations:

I'm sure there are several new Bobcats running around as I believe they have a dealer network going just not as imbedded as the Firehawk, SS and Grand Prix programs were in the past. My guess is that lightened as they started moving to other Mfg's, Ford, Dodge, etc.

I thought they had MORE badging also other then whats on the hood?

It would have been a BETTER package deal/looked better also with the Sport Apperance Package from Pontiac installed with these SLP add ons, you think? IMO.....

Huh? Lost me on that one...

I own a 05 GTO and looked at these when they first came out, both versions I recall. . Still think they had more badging then whats shown in ebay auction on hood (that comes in package).

I stilll think the car would have looked better, and it would have been a better package
deal (total) if it had the SAP package from Pontiac installed as well.

The SAP's dress them up considerably. IMO

They have other appearance stuff as well, their hood is probably the worst after market hood out there though. Can't believe they ever let that leave the drawing board!

I agree with that, they have pretty nice product line cept for hoods IMO.

What I was trying to get across (didnt do good job I guess) was that in the BOBCAT performance package they included badging. I thought the 455 BOBCAT badging was FENDER badges.

The GTO in the ebay auction only showed the 455 on the hood. Did it have BOBCAT now I cant remember?

I went and looked and they do list these badges as "fender badges" on the engine package description but in accessories they say, rear deck, dash, fender ..whereever you want to put them... or something similiar.

Neat looking I think .;
http://www.slponline.com/browse_list.asp have to click on accessories and look for the badges.Wont work.
