I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll have to show my wife that to prove it.

I'm cheap, so I still have to roll down my windows even in a brand new vehicle

When you inadvertently catch your own reflection somewhere in public and it takes a second to realize that the old fart you're looking at is you!

A couple of years ago I was carrying a motorcycle in the back of my truck on a long drive. Had been driving a bit too long .... looked in the rear view mirror and saw the bike that close and it scared the crap out of me

You no longer drive in the 'Fast' lane.

...the value of a dollar is based on 1980.

I first supported myself and family in the late 70s and early 80s so that's when I learned what stuff costs. Needless to say, I get upset paying $15 for a burger and fries.

I had a heart by pass a few years ago and after figured I'm never going to build another car so I might as well clean out some of my stuff. I found that I had 27 Pontiac driveshafts. I don't remember ever parting out 27 cars. What's worse, my grandson now needs one for his 1955 Chieftain and they are all gone. Never get rid of anything. Let the kids do it after you're gone.

You remember waiting on the JC Whitney or P.A.W. catalog to arrive for your parts search. You wrote a check or had it sent C.O.D. for those parts. On a side note, I can remember my family ordering fireworks packages that were sent USPS....

Wife and I were on a road trip listening to a Nashville TN classic rock station.
Then they came on and announced that they were the "Oldies Station". We just looked at each other.

Fifty plus years since these cars were new and we still think of that time as if it was yesterday.

What you don’t realize is that you have the disease called CRS. You have heard of it , and if you haven’t, it’s short for Can’t Remember S..t. See, you knew that!
