I checked the weather rope this morning. It was covered in ice and snow. It was frozen stiff and very cold to the touch, Not good!

My teleconf to a company in Austin TX just bailed; Austin TX lost power and under weather emergency.

JST PA has a thin glaze from fog, that is just about gone.

Has not been a lot of snow in my part of Northern CO but got about 6 inches over the weekend. The freezing temps stink, it has been a long time since it has been this cold here though. Last night it hit -11 and then warmed up to a balmy -6 this morning. I should have started Avy more then once over the weekend. The battery was to cold and remote start would not work. I actually had to go out in the cold and jump it with battery pack. It should be back up to 40's next week though cmon spring/summer

Looks like here.
About knee deep not including drifts.
Both sides of my driveway are waist high.

You know it's cold out...

... when you go outside and it's cold.

Typical January February weather here. The most depressing months of the year. Cold and many long stretches with no sunshine. The only fun I have is scoring parts online. C'mon springtime!

No real issues here in NC, except for the unseasonably prolonged cold and incessant rain lately.

NE MA, looking at a pretty decent week in the low 30°s. Probably have close to 2ft of snow on the ground.

Typical winter really.

Anything but typical here in Texas. I hope the power issues don't cause loss of life. We are ill prepared to deal with this since it's once in a generation/lifetime type weather for us. Prayers wouldn't hurt...

Grew up near Pittsburgh, PA and had my share of shoveling snow. It's currently 52 today with a little rain. Love central CA for the weather.

This happens every few years. We average 6-7" of snow a year but it doesn't snow every year, so the years it does snow we tend to get a good dump. It's all melting now and will be back to "normal" winter weather the rest of this week - highs in the 40s and rain most days.
