Fortunate he wasn't killed.

With that being said, that would explain why he’s not dead. That thing must be built like a tank for the way it looked after the crash.

If he was playing with his cell phone, all they have to do is check it. Unless.... it was "accidently" destroyed in the accident. Hey I'm not sayin' that's what happened but.......

He had to be impaired as there was no sign of braking.

As far as I know, most cars have had ABS, anti-lock brakes.
If their is skid marks that would mean the brakes were not working correctly. I would think the no skid marks mean the car brakes did its job.
Now the suspension setup (center of gravity?) not so sure it could handle the job it was given?

I thought I heard on the news there was a truck runoff near where this happened. If so that was one hell of a hill. Anti brakes or not they didn't help all that much from what I see.

Hoping all the best for a quick full recovery.
I'm still amazed that people feel safe in an SUV.
I've seen so many roll over accidents in these vehicles.
Easy to "high side".
No thanks.

Yes, there could be drugs or alcohol involved - even at 7:00 AM in the morning. But like I said, I'm not going down that rabbit hole without evidence.

In our area it's the elusive and invisible "deer" that causes so many accidents with no witnesses, beer cans not withstanding. Considering where his wreck happened, I'll speculate that a rainbow colored unicorn appeared in the road.

I think he was using his phone while speeding and caught up to a car in front of him and panicked. He swerved and lost control.

Great play on words Mr Anonymous. But yes he's out of the "woods". He'll be just puttering around for a few weeks to heal.

It was probably a medical condition protected by HIPA. Basically a car accident is no reason for the world to know your medical history.

However, a good and probably expensive lawyer could probably work anything into a medical condition protected by HIPA.

But ... even us little people are protected for the most part. If you pass out and crash due to complications from AIDS they don't announce to the world "Yes folks, he crashed cause he has AIDS"

Thing is, if it was Joe Shmo, nobody would give a rats azz. I don't get it, that's all I seen on the news for a solid week.

Hope he don't get a case of gas, everyone will want to know when and how much he farts, including a stink rating...

If his statement had said something about learning lessons, slowing down for safety, hey kids; learn from this, I will reflect on this for future reference, or like, anything, I would bet more might have a bit of sympathy or something.
