Default Pontiac Excitement

Sales manager came down to the shop to tell me he traded in a "old Pontiac". Wanted to know if I was interested said I could get it cheap. Had me going for a bit;

There is a bit of a following for those now. I think they were ahead of their time. It was a given that when they came out they were one of the ugliest cars on the road. But looking at their style now compared with all of the other suvs currently available they are not bad looking at all.

Suddenly, the Pontiac Aztek doesn't seem so bad.

And never be called "homeless".

"I have a home, it just happens to have wheels on it", but I have to stop at convenience stores to potty, unless I'm in San Francisco......

Also known to pinch a wire in front of the driver under the hood, that causes a lot of weird electrical problems. A no start, if I remember correctly. I had to fix one of those a few years back, it's a fairly common problem with Azteks.

I think $200 would get it. Leaving out the clean part!

I honestly couldn't see it and I really don't remember them (and I'm 55). I see it now.

I couldn't see it well enough to tell that it wasn't a Pontiac Vibe.
Never knew the Aztec's had a tent option ... or i don't remember it now, if i knew before.
I would buy it in a hearbeat for $200 if the drivetrain seemed okay.
