I think I have a set of gold ones too and don't remember a name on them, I'll check and report back.

Ok , I have to admit that I am color blind . I do know that they are not red or blue. They are maybe like the orange gold.

Post up a picture , many of us here are not color blind, lol!

To check the ratio you have to set them up on one cylinder, have a way to measure the lift and also know what the Cams lobe lift is.
.270 factory lobe lift with a 1.5 rocker would give you .406" lift at the valve at least by the math!

The 1.65's pushrod cup gets into the fulcrum area slightly. The 1.5's do not

Here's a picture of my 1.65 Harlan Sharp rockers. 1.65 is marked on them, but I don't have a picture that shows it.

I've got pictures here of 1.5s vs 1.65s. Flip them upside down and look at pushrod cup. If there is a slight cut into the curve in the body for the trunnion it is a 1.65. !/5s cup is out and does not shave the curve area. Mine sets do not have any marking on them but once you look easy to tell. Same deal on stamped steel rockers also.

Bober -
Post up a pic of one of those rockers where the push rod sits. Several of us could tell you if they are HS and the ratio. We like to play that game. Hah!

Ditto. Easiest way to tell is look at the push rod cup. If it is close to the fulcrum then they are 1.65.
BTW: I have run the same set of HS roller rockers on several motors including the current race motor. Tens of thousands of street miles and thousands of passes at the track. Great product.

I understand that the pushrod is close to the fulcrum on the 1.65 because I've seen both side-by-side. But if you have never seen one of these rocker arms, how would you know "how close is close". I have seen a picture of these side-by-side. I thought the OP might benefit from that.

Here you go. A Picture of Harland Sharp rockers for Pontiac side-by-side showing what different ratios look like.

Look in the picture on HS -you can see there is some machine marks into the curve of the trunnion area -slight on the 1.6 picture and more on the 1.65.

I'll look on my other computer and see if I still have the picture somewhere or pull them out of the attic and take a new one.
