68 Firebird convertible NM 400 originally a CA car for $20K reserve not met in Ohio. Nice looking car. Even has a fold down rear seat.

72 Lemans GTO Judge clone at NR $9K in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 4-speed car and interior is nice. 7K3 heads, so not a dog. I like the fact the hood doesn't have fake Ram Air stickers on it.

How cool is this. 69 Pontiac (yes, Pontiac, from our brothers up north) Beaumont SD convertible 396 at $50K BIN in Pennsylvania. Claims to be one of 264 SD-L78 (SD stands for Sports Deluxe... according to the ad). That is one bad ass cool car. Hard to believe we used to think those Mr. Gasket foot gas pedals were cool.

Some also still think those garbage tires and rims on that car are cool too.

Yeah but we all did it. I had Cragars on my 70 GTO, then swapped them out for the Cragar SST's, which were all chrome. They were sparkly.

I'm generally a hardtop guy when it comes to A and F bodies but I like that one a lot!

well optioned car, headrests, AC, tilt, pw's etc. I've noticed California buyers back then, on average, ordered their cars with more options. Lose the front airdam, detail the wheels correctly and lower the back and it's a sweetie.

Lucky ?!?!? Are you kidding, those tiny etchings were death traps, almost entirely blinding drivers! I, for one, can say I'm very grateful that our Washington DC overlords saved us by banning those deadly etchings!

btw, is the grab handle correct for standard interior? I thought it was part of the custom interior.

Its very hard to put any trust in this seller at all .
There were 0 Beaumont "SD" Convertibles built in 1969 . Zero "SD" Verts = 1 of None

They never installed the L78 396/375hp Solid Lifter engines into any of the Canadian built cars in any year.
Another 1 of None

Canadian built car and can be easily documented through GM of Canada .
If it were even HALF the car he claims , he would have those Docs pictured.

No trim tag data so probably not even factory Triple Black.
The engine has base model oval port heads
Trans is a THM 350 , instead of THM 400.

The only Pontiac part is the Dash
About 95% Chevy content

PMDs answer to "Astro" glass

BVZ do you have any documentation of this or is it just a rumor?
Ive heard it was more of a supply chain issue.

Another view of the Hazard

Edit :
Somewhere on here years back , I think that was actually substantiated .
I was in on the discussion , but pretty sure it was someone else who dug up the info.

For every restomod you see that is asking $80K, consider you could buy this instead. 70 Trans AM in Ohio at $77K BIN OBO. Looks like #12 manual trans RA III heads, but those are actually better than the #13's. What a beautiful car.

must have been during my Subbatical as I was always in on topic of birdglass.
You might remember me mention the one Sprint I had that had a clear one on one side and tinted everywhere else.
I would say that was more of a whoops we are out of birdglass and have to build the car.why not a plain tint then?
Or replacement at day 2 but I dont see any part # for the clear or tinted.
Whats the build date of this 68? I haven't gleaned all the details from the ad.But the round OSRVM would say early
