Since it falls on my Birthday I'm gonna try and hit Norwalk this year. I HOPE to do the Convention this year for more than the Board Meeting IF [ A BIG IF] YOu people elect me to the POCI BOD again!

Well I got the old yellow Bonneville back together after setting her on fire. Plan on making Norwalk and the Co-convention this year. I'm looking into storing the car and trailer for the time between Norwalk and Columbus in Columbus since we drive thru there going to and from Abilene. Unless of course something catastrophic happens. Sure would save some fuel costs and travel time. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones not to mention hanging around some awesome cars!

Looks like my summer show plans may be in limbo at this point. I got thrown a curve ball in our lawsuit, and had to spend my summer traveling money to retain a lawyer. I may not be able to attend either event.

When it comes to Norwalk I always say BE THERE OR BE SQUARE. Since I've been to Dayton won't be going back. I probably would go to Bowling Green again.

Well, I am shooting for Norwalk, not too sure if I will have the Lemans running by then.
this stupid heart attack deal has slowed me down a bit.
Plus, I am haivng doubts about my plane jane 350. Went to take the exhaust manifolds off today and rounded off most of the bolts. If I have to pull the heads I might as well just get another engine, and not sure if that is in this year's budget(even a cheap running one). I should have the rest of the car together by then.

But I need to at least make it for the swap meet, I really need that. And my wife really got a kick out of seeing the races, she had never been to a drag race before.

A whole bunch!

Seriously, I think there was near 500 race cars there at the 2012 event! The pits were as full as I've ever seen them.

The show field and the race cars are usually fairly close in numbers and they usually are very close to 500 on each side, more or less.

Cars, beautiful cars... And Ice Cream! We're gonna get ice cream!

I hope we don't have to get our tonsils out though.

Just double checking the dates here.

Don't forget to bring something for the picnic.

Looking at the flyer on line it has 2 camping options with and without power, I would guess you can just camp in your pit space also???

I'll be there. I just had left shoulder surgery 7/2. Hopefully, I can handle the drive.

Ellen and I got our plane tickets today. We'll be there as spectators. I've always wanted to go, but never have. Maybe it'll inspire me to get back on my racecar project.
