1. Have lots of Bandit Trans Ams on the show field,
2. Have Buford's car minus the top, and last but not least
3. Have the Snowman Truck!!

And yes, we will have all three at The Indian Uprising. Don't miss this show!!

Hey Paul,
I'm surprised this thread has so few posts, usually it is several pages???? Where has everyone gone, what happened to the usual crowd I wonder.

Anyway, looks like I can't make this special TA tribute this year again. Bummer. looks like I'll have to wait another 5 years for another anniversary to come around again.
Maybe then we can have another big showing of SD's like we did many years ago when we still had the grass show field. I sure miss that venue. It was so cool to park on the grass and put up our shade tents and chill with Pontiac friends.

Best of luck with the show!

Evans / SDD

Facebook has taken over. Several Pontiac/GTO groups on there and tons of people. I hardly check on here anymore...or at least like I used to. It is killing our V-8 Buick site for our Pure Stock cars.

Congrats to Jody for getting Best Of Show with over 600 cars in attendance. But I do agree with SDD on the venue. 100 cars inside have it good and 500 packed onto a asphalt lot not so good. It's a great show and the Crusin Tigers deserve a lot of credit for their charitable work. But You shouldn't come to a car show and have to worry about getting dinged by the careless guys kid parked next to you.

Sometimes my opinions alienate me from people that I thought were friends but I wouldn't say it if I truly didn't believe it. If this show continues at this venue they truly need to clean off the lot to clear it if all the loose gravel that is on it. Baby steps I guess

In talking with the organizers, the parking lot condition was a bit of a sore subject. A street sweeper would do a heck of a job but someone has to pay for it... With as much car show activity as Pheasant Run does , new asphalt would be a prudent investment. I have to say, great event all around!

I guess the reality is...Us hobbyist baby these cars and take great care in protecting them...

I spent hours cleaning and making my car looking its best to sit in a dust bowl.

That parking lot sucked....

There was a unrestored 1974 T/A SD 4 sp with original paint parked just down from me I don't think he was happy with the conditions between the lot itself and trying to stuff as many cars into it as possible ( see my picture above). If they are staying there maybe they need to limit the entries to what the venue can hold. If they need to raise the fee $5.00 per than do that. Once its sold out its sold out, but the 2 1/2 to 3 feet betweeen cars is just not enough. These cars are worth too much to risk damage every time someone opens a door. The closeness also makes it very hard to look at the cars and of course walk between them. I hope that Paul addresses some of the concerns posted here, after all we have supported this show strongly for a very long time. I certainly love going to this show I hope to continue for a long time. The Crusin Tigers do a GREAT job other than these few but IMPORTANT issues. I hope they don't get to big and just blow off the concerns of the car owners that make up the show.
