Default Spring Jefferson,WI car show/swap meet

Spring Jefferson is at the end of the month ( April ) Who's going ? Anybody setting up in the swap area ? I'll be there possibly selling my 72 GTO and I'll have plenty of parts to list to possibly deliver.

I'm most likely going barring a flood like last fall! LOL

Not selling, just looking though. What are you selling for parts?

Tyler

Was considering putting Honeys on my car but not sure if I want to or not. You selling both the honeycombs and Rally's with center caps and tires or just plain old rims?

Forecast is calling for rain late Friday and all day Saturday. I'll be the GTOless on Friday only. See you there.

Jim, latest forecast I saw says mostly cloudy on Saturday with no rain. Sunday is like a 90% chance though.

Looks like it will be a swamp again. Even if it doesn't rain tomorrow, it's been raining for several hours today Maybe Sat will be decent...?

Uggghhh! Just like last fall! I didn't go down half the isles because there were lakes everywhere! Why couldn't of we had last weeks weather this week! Saturday still looks to be the best day of the weekend but who knows....the forecast seems to change by the hour!

A little wishful thinking....they were saying that it has been extremely dry in Wisconsin so maybe the ground will soak up all that rain sooner rather than later!!

I was out there today too. Was there until 1pm so no rain for me either. Wasn't as muddy as I thought it would be. Have seen it worse there. Didn't see much in the way of Pontiacs there. Saw a nice '70 Altoll Blue GTO vert for sale. What did you end up picking up Jim?

That 70 GTO Conv. Was $45000.00.There were alot of over priced 77-79 T/A's out there. There was also a 68 LeMans Conv. for around $18.500.00 that was'nt bad. And I remember seeing a 94 Anniv, T/A for $8500.00 with 129K mile's.But I purchased a 1983 Mercury Capri RS with the 5.0 5 spd with 75K miles 2 owner with 1 repaint. Loads of paper work. Car is Black with a Red interior. I did'nt get it for me I got it for my 20 year old son.

Jim those 80's cars are really coming up in value - sounds like you got a good one - your son must be excited.

I agree about alot of over-priced stuff there. I must have missed the Capri. Those are pretty cool. I have not seen many for sale and agree as well about the value.

Glad to hear it was a Capri and not that butchered-up green hot wheels Pontiac mini van that was for sale for $1100! LOL

Lyn,

The kid really wanted one of your 4spd LeMans or the 72 T41 Wagon, but settled with the Capri. I told him he could have the GTO and I'd take the Capri as I always wanted one of those instead of a Mustang. It was nice seeing you again as well.
