Default Aluminium drive shaft

Hey guys does anyone know if a 3.5 aluminium driveshaft will fit my 1979 trans am with a Tremec magnum transmission ?? Just want to make sure it will in my trans tunnel Thanks

I've never used them in a lowered car but don't foresee an issue there really. I guess it depends on your definition of lowered.

I do like them for the most part. The only drawback pertains to your question. They are larger than a typical steel or chrome molly piece because they have to be to reach certain strength requirements.

I'm having one made for a Vega which has the smallest tunnel in the world lol. But it will fit fine. The stock shaft is 2.750" diameter and the aluminum is only 3.5" diameter. Not a big increase really. That's only 5/8" per side.
