I bought a new 79 SE that the pinstripe on the center section of the rear spoiler was upside down, both end caps were on correctly! It was still like that when I sold it in '85.

Should the outside door handle have a limited edition decal on it?

Nope, just the silver tape insert with the 4 wheel disc sticker over that.

Nice car! As far as build quality, this spoiler end cap was on my 79 Formula original paint car, look at the horrible bottom edge. I kept it as a testament to build quality or lack there of. Also look at the placement of the Formula decal in the middle of the spoiler.

looks like its sold to my my cousin, a Mazda dealer in Cleveland ohio, for 31k,. I got screwed. I don't think I can replace it for that kind of money. He has the guy who bought my 78 32 k White base 400 T top car on it for 35k.

What am I missing here? Did you have to sell it at a loss? Did it go through the auction at no reserve?

Selling thru my cousins Mazda dealership, based on a "gentlemens agreement', that he would handle all transport, and financing situations on just about any car I can by "right". The problem is, at selling time, he can sell them for a more, [but not much more] , then I pay. This leads me a couple grand down just about every time. Don't have to sell the TA at this time, but ready to move into something else.
