Default Differences in 700-r4 in '91 Birds

Were the tranny's any different internally depending on which motor or package you bought? For example, GTA vs TA vs Formula vs 350 vs 305.

I know of a'91 Firebird with an original 305 and 700-r4. Will this car's tranny be just as strong as a GTA or TA?

Thanks.

Buy one that's post 1990. They're the better ones in OE form. The majority of the upgrades over the earlier models is in the front pump housing and seal and the valve body.
