anyone have any info on this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456353369
Both my 66 GTOs are off the frames, and I don't recall seeing anything like this. Which position is considered the #3?? thanks Ed |

I'm not exactly a purist, but I don't see anything special about those. I would think you could order this bushing in the proper dimension from any of the popular suppliers, then paint it the color you wish.
As the seller states, these would be of interest only to the purist so it doesn't seem like he's trying to misrepresent anything. Even in a concours show - no one is going to make you pull the body off the frame to show them your #3 body bushing. http://kurtspontiac.homestead.com/TimSimpson66GTO.html |

I thought the #3 cushion was blue for '66, '67? The #3 is the special one (the cage nut is more of a threaded T shape). Starting from the firewall (on each side) and counting back, #1 and #2 are near each other under the firewall and #3 is the next one back (it's the one under the door). The restoration guide and the maintenance manuals both have good drawings of the mounts and their locations.
