Default What does the fender tie into?

Friend asked what supports the fender at the location in the picture. Is there any other brace other than the inner fender itself?

there is a small bracket that ties it to the core support and were valance meets fender ames part #c106rc

Checked with my friend and he says he does have that bracket, but it ties to the fender closer to the core support. Also found out it's a 69 Judge - at least I got the Judge part right...

Nothing bolts to that hole. It is left open.
