Here is the first baseline run http://home1.gte.net/brooksa/A750P.htm
And the best run http://home1.gte.net/brooksa/A756P.htm
This run had 30 degrees total timing, found out after the fact, one-inch spacer and 94 jets on all four corners. After the dyno runs I went to install the motor and found that the intakes gaskets were not trimmed and there was a minimum of .100" gasket hanging in the roof of the ports. Also I had to have the intake surface cut .060" to get things to line up correctly. Beware if you have someone put your motor together make sure they are familiar with Pontiacs!

Have you run this combo yet? Any results?
What were you running to get your 10.85 you show on your signature?

I haven't had a full pass yet with the new motor, broke the converter at Sunshine, our local 1/8-mile track. Should have it all back together and running for next Saturday at Desoto, our local ΒΌ mile track for test and tune. The current runs posted were with the 417 motor. There was still some tweaking left in the combo but I had the oil light come on going through the lights so I just pulled the little motor out and put the 467 I had on the stand waiting to go in.
