Default 5 inch Backspace wheels??

Being looking for a while now, seems nobody makes an 15 x 8 inch wheel with 5 inch backspace. Is this something that is custom only?? most places sell 4.5 or 5.5 but no 5. Looking to stick with the 15 inch wheel.
This is for my 64 Lemans.
Right now it has Weld Prostars with 4.5 backspace with a 255/70 tire. has light rub on outside of tire. Rubs on the bump on outer wheel well. Would like to go to a 275 tire but I know they will rub worse. Have not contacted Weld yet to see if they will do custom backspace.

Thanks, Rick

It depends on what rear you have. If you have the 64 rear then a 5" backspace will work. If you have a later rear that is 1" wider then to run a 275 tire your going to need a 5.5" backspace. Measure first to be sure. There are companies that make custom backspaces. ET WHEELS comes to mind. I'm sure there are others.

Summit has 60 15x8" wheels that come with 5" BS. Just look up wheels, and then apply filters for 15", 5x4.75, 8" and 5" BS.

Looks like they only have 5.5 offset. Didn't see any 5 O/S in Prostar. As Champ posted, they do make some others with 5" b.s.

Pretty sure it has a 65 rear end housing, but did not measure. Guess I should do that before moving forward. looks like 59 5/8" should be outside length
for axle to axle? Did not have correct housing when vehicle was purchased back in the 80's. I put the 8.2 back in it in around 2004. sat for years.
