Bucket seat tracks
Can anyone post up a pic of bucket seat tracks.
I took mine apart to strip them and relube them and now cant seem to get the springs back on |

I think I sprayed them with "cast blast" or something like that. After that dried for a couple days I taped them off and painted the feet black. I was going by an original one for the finish.

Bringing this thread back from the dead as I'm beginning to tackle the seats in my '66. How does one disassemble the seat tracks in the first place? I've read some places that you need to drill out a dimple to slide the individual sections out. Is this true, or is there another trick that doesn't require drilling?

On second thought, I'm not going to attempt taking the seat tracks apart after all. Going to soak them in Evaporust instead.
