Default WTB W72 WC code block and 6X-4 heads

I need a W72 block, WC code for a 78 Trans Am with a 4 speed transmission. Will consider complete motor or just the block. I'm also looking for some 6X-4 heads. I'm in San Diego, CA. Thanks!

Just picked it up the Macho last night. It is a New Mexico car so the body is really nice. Haven't gone through all the numbers yet but I'm excited to get working on it.

thats not a WC code W72, 77 W72s were just the standard thin 500557 block, 78-79 W72 were 481988 XX castings.

We have a complete STD bore just rebuilt running 78 WC complete matching engine 17058263 carb to pan other than using a better nodular 68 crank and new 68-74 style STD flat tops upgrade and use a 76 and older normal register size flywheel and all running in our 78 W72 Formula 4 spd project but engine is from another car so not original WC to our car curious what its worth if we change directions and put a 455 TH350 in it instead? Trans is 79 ST-10 from a TA

Also buddy has a STD bore WC block he has kept as a builder for his 74 but I am sure he would trade it for something else 400/455 related block

I think I found a complete engine minus the carb and distributor. I will keep your info in case it doesn't work out. Thanks for the reply.
