My sister sent some pics from Back to the Bricks in Flint... if that was any preview, the Dream Cruise should be pretty cool! Can't wait to see pics.

I'll be out in the evenings this week, and early on Saturday morn.

For Sure. The locals know that the weeknights leading up to Saturday are always the best. Every Night in fact.
Been lucky to literally grow up at Woodward & 13 1/2 mile road...Can still remember hearing those cars in the 70's in my case running late at night...

Our local little weekly car show, Lakeside Mall in Sterling Hts. MI., was more crowded tonight. Partly because a little cooler and more comfortable evening and Woodward is this coming weekend. There were many cars I have never seen before. It is nice seeing more vehicles out and about.

Met my boss ('38 Ford with Flathead) and my brother in law (my old pickup) at the IHOP for a few minutes last night.

I went out to Woodward with my wife and son on Monday ... great turnout and perfect weather. More enjoyable than it will be on Saturday...

I bumped into Mr Seymour at a red light today, lol.
Hit it early today, a lot of nice cars out then.
Heading to M1 later, I have an extra ticket, says $50 on them, post you want it, we’re heading up in a bit.

I went out last evening from 6pm-9pm. Basically started at M59 in Pontiac, went down to south of 696 and came back up to M59 and then back east to Sterling Hts. It took 3 hours to "do the loop". lots of nice cars and not too warm. A nice night to take a drive.

Strange more don’t come in for this, they say it’s the words largest auto event, people will drive long ways to go t just a show or swap,
I didn’t see the Perf Years GTO, Wangers GTO, ,HO garbage truck, Hot Tub on a trailer, The Royal Pontiac Boys, this year did you notice Ford sponsored the event, most shirts have Ford crap on t(em, I’d have to have an epi pen in my pocket wearing one,
Didn’t see Batmobile, I did see the monkey mobile, no speed racer car, I did see a station wagon Vette,
I did miss the rain, a few times it did come down in buckets.

Staff, for some reason I can’t use an emoji that’s on my I pad

Me and my oldest son went up Friday evening and met my son that lives in Pontiac. We went out in his Laser, and my Charger for a while. Saw some street racing, and a lot of dumba**'s that brought out the police. We went out on Sat but spent most of the day around the Dodge area in Bloomfield Hills. Watched lots of nice cars go by, but the numbers of old/classics were way down from years past. We left when rain hit and went back to my son's house for a bit, had to fix his cooling fan that stopped working then went back out. The police started shutting things down between 9-9:30 in the Royal Oak area.

Put about 300 miles on the Model A from Thursday night to Saturday afternoon. Ran open headers, it was a blast this year. The usual idiots and inconsiderate people. A lot more young people cruising this year.

A few Dream Cruise photos, courtesy of the Detroit Free Press.

I was able to get out there Tuesday night and Thursday night. Made two passes Saturday morning, and then again Saturday afternoon - but I can't take many pictures since I am driving.
