What is the correct color of plating for the ground terminal when it came from the factory?

Thank you. Any suggestions on how I can strip the silver plating off to get back to the natural brass?

I had to go look, I have 5 of them. 3 look like they have plating and 2 look raw. So I’m guessing either is correct

Flatten and tin the end of the webbed wire before you put in the end. May want to solder it too.

Yes, that open mesh is a place humid air can get and soon youll have galvanic corrosion you cant see on each strand, like a glove on your fingers they will not be able to touch each other eventually.

My 70 TA is missing this ground terminal. Does anyone have one to sell or know of a source? I would be extremely grateful.

Can someone confirm the 1971 T/A has only two ground connections, one shaker to firewall and one head to firewall?

...and does Norwood or anyone else have a spare shaker to firewall ground strap that they are willing to part with?

That is all that mine has, but when I bought the car, it had already been worked on. Seems to work fine.
