Default Our new addition to the family!

I would like to thank Jay Smith (JusJay) for trusting me with caring for his pride & joy. 1962 Tempest LeMans Convertible. She was moved this last Sunday from Chino Hills Cali. to her new home in Glendale AZ. After some fresh gas & a bath, she is resting in our garage next to my wifes 70 GTO. She is scheduled for an inspection & registration at DMV this friday.

For some reason I was under the impression Jay had a pair of V8 62s.

Took some more pictures today. A fellow Rope shaft guy stopped by to chew the fat. Had to get some pictures. My 61 Tempest, the 62 Vert, Wifes 70 455 GTO & Vince Caton's 62 LeMans that he drove to north Glendale Az from Green Valley today. Over a 300 mile round trip!

Nice! I like modified cars but there's something special about a car that takes you back to 1962. Especially if you've never actually been there.

Wifes car a 70 GTO, that is so cool. What came first the wife or her car?

Looks like you got plenty of car storage space too.

The Cameo Ivory '62 looks exactly like mine. What color interior?
Mine is light blue, original, fortunately still in pretty good shape.

Black interior on the white 62. GTO came with the wife. She has had it since the 80's.

An update is due. New tires mounted & balanced. New seat belts, new trunk mat & spare tire cover. Lots of little things tightened & adjusted. Fresh oil & filters. New Lisc. Plate came in. Wilbur the wonder dog approves!!
