XBOX Live
Is there anyone in the Chicago area that knows which AT&T and which Comcast speeds will work with XBOX Live. I'm currently paying $44 for Comcast Cable Internet (12MB) and really don't need that speed anymore. I just need a fast enough speed for XBOX Live.

The faster the better. Do you have Clear in your area? Try them.

I have XBOX Live..
I think that 5mb would be enough. There is only transfer of information, not the actual game. if you're provider offers "tiers" of service I would imagine that a lower one would be fine. I have 8mb here in the sticks of Northern NJ and I have no issues. I also have friends who play online and have DSL which is 1.5 mb downloads. I;m paying $44 for 12mb and I really don't need that speed, 1.5mb is around $20 there's nothing in between with Comcast. If 1.5mb should work I'll give it a shot, can always switch back, just hate dealing with Comcast customer service they are the worst.
