GTI George,
You seem to have a problem reading and writing English. Not everyone drag races.

I’m on my cell phone so some things I don’t catch, I was also out at the time. If I was sitting at home doing nothing I probably would have caught it.
I’m sure the sun will still rise tomorrow! LOL!

Any idea what Dil has in mind? Bracket race? Vintage gasser exhibition?

True, I never had my Pontiac hemi V8 in a race car. But on the other hand, how many Pontiac racers have dragged a 14,000 pound sled down a track? Limited to 370 c.i. and a 6-71 at 8% over? Through 11 seasons with 43 event wins and a state points title?

Tractor pulling, George. The device the tractor is attached to is referred to as the “sled”.

Give George a bit of slack, he never experienced any kind of performance competition other than Detroit street racing and racing on a 1/8 or 1/4th mile Drag Strip. No Tractor Pulling, No Bonneville Salt Flats stuff, no Hill Climbing (Pikes Peak), no Baja racing, no parking lot "Cone" Racing, no Road Course racing, No Hill Climb racing, no SCCA track or Street RACING, NASCAR RACING, or Le Mans racing. Of course he has no clue what a "Sled" is.

Be Nice to him.

I didn't think you could come off looking any worse or less knowledgeable. Then you made this post.

Stan, let it go. George is far from making himself look totally stupid.
He just knows how to bracket race in Michigan and Ohio.

Tom V.
By the way George I am very happy to be in my recliner watching my 401K and other investments allow me to purchase anything I want when I want it.
That recliner comment is totally accurate.

Tom,
What George does not understand is him racing his car does not mean he knows anything race cars or race engines. By the way he doesn't, all someone needs to do is read George's posts to understand that fact. And just because someone is seating in a recliner doesn't mean that they have not built race engines and race cars and knows more about both than George. Which we do.
