Everything about that event is really fun if your into nostalgia. From the old covered stands close to the track, to the big, big car show, hundreds of vintage race cars, restored hot rods, great food trucks, chance to get very up close in the pits. West coast style front engine dragsters. It's a really fun weekend but can be brutally hot. When we managed to qualify #1 in the Boss Bird against an entire field of hemi's, it was a racing highlight for me personally. Great fans and great times. Go in person if you can .

Went to the HRR a bunch of years ago. Very cool track and tons of cars. Great time.

Just tuned in to see this Tempest but the camera work is lacking for something like this. No down the track shots, just the launch.

My wife and I went many years ago, 2008 I think. Anyway, as others have said it is a great event. Good racing and a big car show. Would like to go back maybe next year.

That event needs more golf carts. Eric Larson will back me up on this.
