Did some research........they did make a few 73 SDs. Also, it shows that Pontiac did produce a 1974 SD. (Probably worked the bugs out). But, in 1975 the addition of a bigger rear window and illumination devices fitted in the grill region, made for serious driving excitement. Less wind drag and better lighting to read in the back seat. Thanks to all of the 75 SD-455 owners who helped with this research.

Come back when you know what the hell you're talking about! You need to read a few more HPP magazines.

Glad I'm not the only one that ran into someone on the first day of their Summer vacation that went downtown to look for a job. People from that same location have infiltrated car shows and other events. They've even encouraged some folks to venture several hours existing on #1 combo meals for a day and brushing lettuce off their lap to view, what they insist, is an SD car. Nothing can replace the feeling of pulling up to a barn to see 4 square headlights on a dusty Firebird. I like them all. But.......
The Google machine has confirmed what I set out to learn. Pontiac made a 74 SD and it looks to be the last year. The 73 seems to be a very popular model, as well.
Those Habitat Partnership Program magazines are fabulous. Someone swore they saw an ad for the 2011 Pontiacs on page 12.
