Use air craft stripper ( the hood version some states don’t allow it.
Or use glass bead . Glass won’t deteriorate it alluminum oxide will deteriorate it.
BTW I think those are plastic fantastic like the 70s and I wish some of those 70s customers would show up more often I ever a RAIV 69 bird done up w louvers and a late 70s tail panel. Turbine wheels and fender flares . Car was so period correct for the 70s. Sadly it’s restored stock now.

So post pictures of them when you get them done and use white vinegar to prep
