Does anyone have good pics of a 69 Transam hood ? I know that I can buy a fiberglass hood but I thought that I might try and make a steel hood from a flat hood that I have. Has anyone ever tried this ? Thanks for the help.

Jim, I have several pics but they have the RA pans covering the support frame. I also believe the support frame is different than the flat hood. I know of 1 company that makes the glass hood with a steel Sprint support frame, which is supposed to be correct to mount the RA pans, but the cost is $700 plus $100 shipping. I have been trying to find a metal hood for my TA as well and do not have $3500 to spend on one. It was missing it before I bought my TA and currently has a glass hood on it. I was looking into making a 400 hood into one but I am not the best at fabricating.I would like to know how you make out with your project as well and let me know if you will still need the pics.
