Hey Nick -- I'm about to start restoration on my own '67 HO car ... but it's far from a starting point as solid as yours - I envy you! I'm usually a bone-stock nut, but had considered making one switch from the PHS, rebuilding with a 4- or 5-speed instead of the factory Turbo 400. It was a His/Hers so I'm hesitant -- but then again, the factory floors are long gone anyway, so what the hell! Good luck with your project.

My friend with a '65 was just complaining today about the terrible fit of the A/C delete parts. Strange how some seem to fit and others don't. I haven't seen his, but his other work has been excellent so I have a hard time blaming a bad fit on him. Your pics sure look like everything fits great.

Im going to start updating this old thread pretty soon. Let me start by asking why i cannot load any images in through photobucket?

You should be able to...I do it all the time. How are you trying to do it?
By the way, after reading back through the thread, I'll update too... I did order the A/C delete product and had an initial fitment problem. I called (Steve?) and discussed it with him. He told me to send it back and he'd send me an updated design. The second one did fit. This was for a '68 A body by the way.

I click
-manage attachments -use "upload file from url" -i then try to use the img code or the direct link after clicking on the pic it comes up with "invalid url" |

Don't do it that way. Go to your photobucket account and scroll across the picture that you want to post. When you scroll across it, a dropdown should appear below it with one of the items in the [img] format. Click on that one and you should see a small banner that reads- "copied".
Come back to the PY post and place your cursor where you want the picture to appear. RIGHT click and then click "paste". You should see the url that you just copied from photobucket. When you post, the photo should be imbedded into the posting. Hope I made that clear...

Since the last update I got my radiator installed from Entropy tech. On a scale of 1-10 id geive it a 7.5 It looks nice and will probably work but the cut out for the factory clamp was a little off.

After the radiator research and install i got some news that changed my build time and budget.....9 months later we got this!
So my budget got trimmed and the project got put on hold for a Ford Edge and a LOT of baby stuff!! Say hi to Aliviah! |

So after the project got back on track i got a lakewood scattersheild and my Richmond 5 speed/ Long shifter fabbed in. No tunnel cutting necessary. It almost fell in. I did have to mod the tranny crossmember and do some cutting and fabbing on the tunnel cover though. The shifter sits back probably 4 inches from stock. Thats ok with me.
Since the pics ive cleaned up the crossmember welds, sand blasted and shot it with paint. Ill post a pic of it out of the car and cleaned up a bit later. It turned out nice. |

In the last pic u may notice a set ceramic coated hooker super comps in the background. I scored them off ebay on the cheap. So cheap, i was worried they might be defective but they literally fell in. Great fit and finish, look brand new, only had a couple hundred miles on them and the guy wanted to make his car stock again. $300 shipped to my door!!
The rest of the exhaust is a 3" Flowtech x pipe kit, 3" Dynomax ultraflows, 2.5" flowmaster cone reducers into 2.5" tails dumped right behind the rear tire. |

Been a while since i updated this thread. Ive since come a long way. I started by boxing in my stock control arms and installing new bushings.
