Default Nunzi tempest specs

Here are the specs on the car.

Okay the motor is a 4 cylinder SD
With a 1963 980 SD head and a 4 barrel cast aluminum intake made to fit the build
(head and intake were fully modified by nunzi to make it happen)
The carb is a 625cfm SD NASCAR AFB (also modified by nunzi)
It has a Jericho 4 speed that is shifted with the clutch (center force DFX clutch set up)

I will snap some pics of the engine and post them up

As far as the weight of the car we did not put it on the scale yet but it is an all steel car as soon as we scale it we will post the weight. Dad is trying to make it run as fast a it can with all Pontiac Gm parts !

Yep, when it comes to driving a 4-speed Nunzi is still a master. He has been racing stick cars since the early 60's.

Awesome! Nunzi has been a household name since i was a kid... some of my best friends nicknamed me "Nunz" because i was such a Pontiac nut when i was young... they still call me that...hehe... He has been a great inspiration to me over the years..my Dad(RIP) turned me on to him ... i read the article in "Cars" magazine a million times about the 67 bird he built in the late 70s... i think i still have that mag... How is the "62 runnin? THe Immortal Indian!!

Hey Brent the 62 is good we have not had it out for a few years it has been up on stands since we have been running the RA V tempest in the N/SS class and of course now playing with the 4 cylinder but dad wants to take it out again and bang some gears. !!

i asked him if i can drive the 62 and he said "the cars with 3 pedals are mine you drive the cars with 2 pedals"
