Looks like a 30k bird to me. So much nicer and solid without t tops. 4spd = good motor, great colors.

Door strikers on my 75 are painted. Door strikers on my 73 are not painted. Both cars are original paint.

So being painted doesn’t cause reason for concern then? Guess we’ll just look at them, before asking then and looking like an idiot.

To be picky:
It looks like someone sat on the console And crushed it just behind the shifter hole. It Can be repaired by gluing on a doubler.
The engine has been out for a re paint. I doubt it could be painted that thoroughly in situation.
Transmission looks like there is silicone on the main body by the mid plate and the cluster shaft.
It looks like a nice car that I would not kick out of my garage for leaking oil. Which it does.
Price wise I think it is in the ball park. There’s a lot worse going for a lot more out there. There are better deals as well, but, usually they require work.

4-Speed cars are fun IF ya know how to drive one. slow or fast.
I'm very very good at both !
I put a 79 shifter in mine as they are a bit shorter.
Less likely for your knuckles to hit the dash in a heated rush.
I think you should have one of each. 4-speed and auto.

I drove my first Pontiac when I was 18. It was a 62 Cat 389 3x2 4-speed.
THAT NIGHT SOLD ME ON PONTIACS !

I won’t be driving it, I don’t drive stick, this one is for Mike, I have my 69 and my Bandit car. He is a member here, but doesn’t do social media he’s very laid back, but don’t like the drama some dish out on here as he does read it from time to time. He does drive stick lol had a Vette that was a 4 sp.

Slow. Maybe 200hp? Muscle? My 302 cid 1971 comet GT (grabber Maverick) smoked these cars, and I only had a 3.0:1 rear gear. My friends and I still laugh about that today. Then i bought a 351W 1969 cougar and beat them even worse lol. I think my friend was running 16 second 1/4's with his stock TA lol. Obviously amateurs but so is the average T/A owner.
I would pull up along side of those cars at a light and those drivers thought they'd have an easy win, lol. They were very wrong....And on the highway it was even worse, i could effortlessly pull away.

Ten years ago a guy was selling two of these at the local gas station. One was black, the other white; both were real nice and the TWO of them together sold for 12K.
Cool car? yes.
30K? no not from me. Not even 15K. lol. i just dont see it.
Just an opinion.
If stock a 351 4v Windsor ran high 15s, a 302 2v in a early Maverick was a middle 16 sec car with a 3 speed manual, an auto was slightly slower. So, with a stock 200 horse TA between those 2 it would be close unless the TA was running bad or had a bad driver.
The later 220 horse TAs in 79 ran low 15s.

Well except for b-mans car that’s the only silver exception.

I once spent about 3 hours as a front seat passenger in my daughter's '01 Camaro. Because I had driven it many times before, I can tell you that it's much more comfortable for the driver. The passenger floor is raised to clear the cat convertor.
I must say that I really like the aggressive look of Bart's car! The hood design was killer.
