Default 55 disc brakes

Helping a friend who has a 55 chiefton and wants to convert to front disc brakes, keep the 5x5 bolt pattern and if I recall someone on this did it with over the counter full size GM parts with the original spindle, or is there a company that he can order from with everything including upgraded master, proportion valve and everything else

There is this complete kit on Ebay. My '56 came with a similar set that I sold.
