Default Somebody to look at a LeMans in Michigan?

Hi, I'm considering a 67 LeMans that's in the Allen Park, (Detroit) MI area. Is there a member near there that has time to check out the car for me? I'm in the Carolinas and don't want to fly up there if the car isn't worth it? I'll pay you for your time and gas.

DM me if you can help me out. Thanks, Robert!

If you haven't found anyone yet, my son works in Allen Park. He said he could look at it and get pictures if you want. I will PM you also.

I'd like give a huge shout to Craig and his son Jason for checking out this car for me. Jason did a great job taking pics of the car, talking to the owner and calling me while he crawled around on it. Thanks again!

So here's the update.

After Jason's mostly positive report on the car, I flew up there last week to see it in person. After crawling around on the car for almost two hours, the seller and I agreed on a price, and I had it transported home.

It really does take a tribe to keep these cars going. Everybody involved was exceptional. I'd like to thank Jason and his buddy for looking at it, and Dave Phelps Classic Relocation for trucking it down to me.

The car does have some trunk rust and needs some love to get roadworthy, as it sat for a few years. Look for posts in the street section.
