Default Got a new guitar...

To match my car. Gibson ES-339. It's a beauty. Should have it in a few days.

Is the 339 the smaller 335 body shape guitar model? Looks like it might be. Either way, nice color and flame on that top.

I've got one of the white Gibson Pete Townsend SG's here to pose on my 69 when it gets out of the shop. Until then, here's my 59 replica Les Paul.

Beautiful, Im sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of that. My son has an epiphone copy, which is a pretty decent guitar in itself. Although he is mostly fender stuff. I have always been partial to gibson myself, with a LP gold top the pride of the couple of 'axes' that I have. I havent played seriously in about 30 years and within the past couple my boy was gracious enough to lend me his sg and a small fender amp to practice and play around with. Last summer I was doing a job beside a Guitar Center and came real close to buying a very nice Gretsch hollow body. I still have thoughts of that one in my mind and may have to give into the urge one of these days.

That's a beautiful R9! I have a small collection of Gibson Custom Shop Reissues. Wonderful guitars.

Yeah, the 339 is a smaller body version of the 335. Feels more like a LP, although paradoxically, the upper fret access is not as good.

This is my R0 which is my favorite.

Man, that blue over the wood pattern looks amazing!

I'm painting my 71 over this spring in Candy blue, and that's pretty damn close to the color I'm going for.

Wow what a coincidence I just bought a used guitar myself a couple weeks ago. Nothing as nice as those above though

I have always been a drummer, but a few years ago I decided that I wanted to learn to play the guitar. Being a Pontiac guy, as soon as I saw the Gibson Firebird I had to have it

NiceI Enjoy that sweet Gibson.

I really loved my Gibson guitars, but recently sold the three I owned as I've lost interest in playing and am scaling back on guitars. I had a Les Paul Traditional in Hertiage Cherry Sunburst, an ES-137 Classic in the same finish and an ES-335 Nashville custom ordered in .... you guessed it, I buy mint condition used guitars rather than new.

Don't feel too bad for me, I have enough guitars to go around.

It's pretty deep in guitars, amps and cabs here still. 26 guitars, 15 4x12 cabinets, 12 amp heads, various combo amps, 212 and 112 cabs as well. It used to be worse, I cut down to move to AZ. At one point I had 23 Marshall stacks lined up two stacks deep in this room.

I had bought my two C5's with the spare cabs I had to sell, even then it still looked like this in late 2013 after the LA Amp Show.

I should have had my own episode of "Hoarders".

That looks like my local guitar center lol. Speaking of which, My e-GF (longtime) thought I was crazy with the guitars. I took her to Guitar Center one day when they were in their heyday. She walked in the door and couldn't even take it all in. She said "I had no idea places like this existed.' She didn't even like guitars but was like a kid in a toy store going from guitar to guitar and saying "Oh my god, look at this one" over and over." Eventually it just became "Oh my god, I get it now. They're like candy." and joked "You can never come back here again. lol"
