Lots of reading on this. Do a search. Top of my head, you will be looking at least $600+ for used stuff. And that would be getting a great deal.

Used to be cheap to get a setup. Maybe times have changed. I suppose it's a matter of who you deal with.

Yeah I figured it would be 600-800$
But finding used parts is pretty tough.

It makes the 68's look a lot nicer. Can't wait to get it all done!

Everything is now re popped. But you may touch the $1200 mark that way... It will be costly to get every thing either way. Bumper brackets, doors, hideaway doors, grills, chrome trim, acuators, light switch, hardware. Plus to clean and paint.

I thought the bumper brackets and the sheet metal doors weren't repopped? Although, i has been a while since I've looked.

Who offers them and what's the price tag?

I don't think the bumper brackets are repopped, but think other than that you can get every piece for the set up. I know its in the Ames cat. do not have it in front of me but think its in the $1200 range.

I am going to remove the hide-aways from my convertible someday. I think the hide-aways are more of a classier look for the Gran Prix, the GTO's need the tougher look of the exposed headlights. Just my opinion.

I like the hideaways and both my '68s had/have them...but in the last few years, I have to admit that I like the exposed headlight arrangement just as much.
It really does give it a stripped down, tough look...especially with the endura bumper.
